Beef Northwest offers competitive wages with advancement opportunities for every single job. We are a pay for performance company and reward hard work and results. Wage and performance of all our employees is evaluated annually if not more often.
We provide a quarterly bonus program to all full time employees. The program provides monetary rewards to employees for superior cattle performance, safe work practices, a clean work environment and achievement of department goals.
PTO: Beef Northwest recognizes that regular Full-Time employees need time away from work, that is why we as a company offer a generous annual allotment of PTO to be used for vacation and personal time.
Holiday Pay: Beef Northwest provides six paid holidays per year New Years, Christmas, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving. Cattle must be fed every day, even on Christmas. Beef Northwest appreciates the sacrifice our employees occasionally make. Employees that work holidays are paid time and on half for the time they work, as well as the standard 10 hours of holiday pay.
Health Insurance: Beef Northwest employees are provided excellent health care coverage which includes full family medical insurance, and prescription drug coverage.
Vision and Dental: We have a competitive benefits program that includes vision and dental for you and your family.
Supplemental Insurance: A variety of supplemental policies are available to our employees such as life insurance, cancer, disability, etc. Beef Northwest provides our employees with term life insurance with a death benefit of $10,000 and we pay 100% of the employees’ premiums.
Beef Northwest is committed to our employees’ financial security after their career with us. Employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) retirement plan after three months of service. This includes an option for a Traditional 401(k) or Roth 401(k) contribution. The company match is discretionary however Beef Northwest has consistently matched employees savings of up to 5% of gross pay.
Goal Setting: Every employee participates in an annual performance evaluation and goal setting process for the upcoming year. Through the goal setting process employees are encouraged and rewarded to further their knowledge which is a direct benefit to the individual and Beef Northwest
Tuition Assistance Program:
Beef Northwest offers a Tuition Assistance Program for those that want to further their education and technical skills. This can include classes such as welding, hydraulics, electrical, computer’s, math, animal science and maintenance.
