Sam se uni\u00f3 a nosotros como pasante en abril mientras terminaba su licenciatura en Ciencias Animales de la Universidad Estatal de Oregon. Su entusiasmo, curiosidad y \u00e9tica de trabajo fueron muy impresionantes, por lo que se le ofreci\u00f3 un lugar permanente en el patio despu\u00e9s de graduarse.<\/p>\n\n<p>Sam llama a Vale, Oregon, su ciudad natal, pero encontr\u00f3 un nuevo tipo de hogar trabajando con la tripulaci\u00f3n en Quincy. Dijo que una de las cosas que le atra\u00edan de Beef Northwest era la cultura. \u201cLa cultura aqu\u00ed en Quincy es una familia muy trabajadora. Todos trabajamos duro y bien juntos. Beef Northwest es una gran familia. Cuando todos nos reunimos como administradores u operaciones, es como una reuni\u00f3n muy divertida &#8220;.<\/p>\n\n<p>La pasant\u00eda de Sam la pas\u00f3 aprendiendo sobre los departamentos de ganado y alimentaci\u00f3n. Sus deberes inclu\u00edan recibir, enviar y procesar ganado, as\u00ed como aprender a leer literas y manejar el molino. Su principal proyecto de pasant\u00eda fue ayudar a desarrollar una nueva instalaci\u00f3n de procesamiento para el patio de Quincy. Cuando Sam no est\u00e1 en el trabajo, le gusta montar a caballo, atar y pasar el rato con su perro Spud.
